HydroDermabrasion is a system that uses four effective technologies fluid hydrodermabrasion, serum application, cooling application and ultrasound. to provide customized and effective treatments for various skin concerns.
Our Hydrafirm treatments are for all skin types and conditions, and have no downtime or side effects. The treatments are gentle, relaxing, and painless, and they can be performed in 30 to 60 minutes. The results are immediate and long-lasting, and they can be further enhanced by combining the device with other dermatological procedures, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or injections.

Pre-Treatment Instructions:
- For 48 hours before your Hydrafirm treatment, please discontinue the use of any skincare
products containing active ingredients such as: Vitamin A compounds (retinol, retinoids),
Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, Beta-Hydroxy Acids and any other exfoliating products. - AVOID direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours before your treatment.
- If you have a moderate history of herpes or cold sores, you may require an anti-viral
prescription prior to treatment. If you have an active cold sore, please reschedule your
appointment. - Some medications or supplements may increase sensitivity, please consult with your
physician. - For 14 days before your treatment, please avoid any clinical treatments (including but not
limited to): Laser treatments, IPL, chemical peels, micro needling, muscle relaxant injection
and Dermal fillers.
Post-Treatment Care:
- Following your Hydrafirm treatment, your skin may have a slight rosy glow for approximately 12-24 hours
- It may also have a “windburn” sensation if your skin is sensitive.
- Use all gentle and fragrance-free products for the next 2-3 days after your treatment or until you feel as though you are no longer sensitive to your home care products.
- It is recommended to avoid over-the-counter topical medications or alpha hydroxy acids for 24-48 hours post treatment as they may cause irritation.
- Discontinue use of any topical retinoids for at least 3 days after your treatment or longer based on your sensitivity. This may include: tretinoin, Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®,EpiDuoTM, Ziana®)
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 2-3 days after your treatment.
- Apply a mineral SPF 30-50 daily following your treatment.
- Do not go tanning for at least 2 weeks post-procedure. This practice should be discontinued due to the increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging.
- AVOID electrolysis, facial waxing and/or depilatories for approximately 1-2 weeks.

Immediately after HydraFirm treatment, your skin may appear slightly pink or flushed, but this typically subsides within a few hours. You may also experience some mild dryness or tightness, which can be easily remedied with a moisturizer. Most patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment.
