Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a type of cosmetic treatment that uses acids to remove the top layer of the skin. This can help to improve the appearance of the skin by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.
Chemical peels can be classified into three main types: superficial, medium-depth, and deep peels. Superficial peels are the mildest type of peel and only remove the top layer of the skin. Medium-depth peels remove the epidermis and part of the dermis, and deep peels remove the entire epidermis and dermis.
The type of peel that is right for you will depend on your individual skin concerns and goals. Book a consultation with the team at Derma to get more information about the right chemical peel treatment for you.
